The Daybreak | Studio Series
The first light of day, captured in its simplest form. The Daybreak reimagines the familiar sight of the sun emerging above the horizon, using bold contrasts, natural colour, and abstract geometry to evoke the stillness of a new beginning.
A golden Osage Orange sun rests above a rich Purpleheart horizon, framed by the warm, earthy tones of Bolivian Rosewood. Its reflection is interpreted through flowing, abstract forms. Across both sides, the design shifts between two perspectives of the same scene, creating a sense of continuity and movement.
The natural colours and grain of the hardwoods introduce depth and texture, transforming a familiar landscape into a distinctive piece of functional art. With no paints or stains, every shade comes directly from the materials themselves.
Design composition: Double-sided, multi-species hardwood inlay
Wood species: Bolivian Rosewood (Morado), Purpleheart, Osage Orange
Core: 12-gauge stainless steel
